Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
The BBA program offered by KCCM is an industry integrated program that aims to bridge the gap
between the academia and the industry. The program enhances the skills and proficiencies
necessary for the global market.
The teaching methodology offers a thoughtful combination of industry exposure in the form of
assignments, internships, case study analysis, industrial visits, skills training, and project
work. The idea is to develop problem-solving abilities and critical thinking and prepare the
students to work as efficient team members. The program also enables the students to specialise
in many other domains including Finance, Entrepreurship, Marketing, HR and Data Analytics. KCCM
also provide Corporate and Soft Skills training to the students to develop the finer aspects of
business etiquettes and soft skills over and above the academic qualifications.
Duration
6 Semesters for 3 years. Upon successful completion of the course, a student is awarded
bachelor’s degree in BBA.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have completed Two years Pre–University course of Karnataka State or its
equivalent are eligible for admission into this course as notified by the University from time
to time.
Pass in PUC/10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognised board or any other equivalent
qualification.
Course Objectives
- To encourage and prepare the
students to pursue their careers in Finance, HR, and Marketing sectors.
- To encourage
entrepreurship.
- To develop Business Analysts,
Capital Markets and Commodity Markets.
- To prepare students to take up
higher education to become business scientists, researchers, consultants, and
teachers.
- To develop the students for
competitive examinations like UPSC, KPSC, BSRB, Staff Selection Commission.
